AN INTERACTIVE, ONE MILE "WALKING DISCOVERY"

THIS MOBILE ASSISTED MIXED REALITY WALKING ADVENTURE PUTS THE THRILL OF DISCOVERY INTO YOUR OWN HANDS

"Archaeology is the study of humanity itself..."

- Margaret Murray, 1863-1963

"Archaeology is the study of the material remains of past human societies. These include human remains and artifacts from early civilizations to the man-made objects that are buried or thrown away in the present day - from simple tools to complex machines, early dwellings, religious artifacts and more."

- Archaeology.org

With our new walking discovery mobile app, study the timeline and building blocks of local societies through the virtual recovery and analysis of artifacts

buried layers deep beneath your feet:

- An interactive walking map leads to actual historic hotspots

- Mixed Reality mobile technology allows participants

to investigate, excavate, carbon date and record their historical findings -

digitally "unearthing"  objects buried over a 5 century timeline -

from the early days of the Timucua Indians to the modern Civil Rights Era.

.

Step into the shoes of an experienced archaeologist !  Experience the thrill of unearthing a Native cutting tool from 1345. Discover a history that has yet to be written. Get to know those who came before us through the virtual buried layers of cultural artifacts of daily life and material advancement. All "finds" are based on past real world discoveries as well as civilizations known to have existed in a particular location. This discovery adventure will be carefully curated through records kept by local historians and archeologists.

Archaeology helps us understand the past through the material objects we find - offering us insight into the journeys of our ancestors and those who travelled from afar to build new lives and traditions right under our feet!

This discovery app mobile app is certain to please adventurers of all ages.
